My wife and l just came back from a week long trip from the Barceló Riviera all adults The service at this hotel is great, from Jose Hue at the buffet (very friendly and great service) to Fernanda and the entertainment team at the pool and all the team at the specialty restaurants, great job everyone. One thing we noticed was that the people cleaning the rooms were a bit pushy to get in the rooms to start doing the cleaning, they did a great job cleaning but a couple of times we were in the middle of taking a shower and they only knock once and open the door, and that was a little awkward, they have a button on each room to let the housekeeper know that you don’t need service but they still try to get in the room after knocking once, entertainment at the hotel was ok, l noticed some issues with the sound , some of the shows were a bit hard to listen due to a lack of a sound engineer?? We never got any information on the shows from the other hotels until probably the las couple of days when we went and ask the front desk and they provided a list with all the shows , location and times, probably would help if we got this information when we arrived, all the specialties restaurants were good with excellent service, great beach, only downside is they don’t let you take any food to the pools or the beach, still this is a great place to stay and relax, we highly recommended and we would love to come back to visit again!

This property is one of the best on-site. Food and buffet is delicious. HSKP does a great job cleaning the rooms, and most staff members are very helpful. The only issues faced are the following. The premium check-in seemed lackluster. Usually they would offer drinks, and would be a little more helpful. When I had a question, they would attempt to have me call/resolve it myself. Instead of providing a solution. The shuttle service was not operational during my stay. On three separate occasions the shuttle arrived, but the driver would refuse anyone onboard, and would leave. the MOD stated they had no idea why this was happening, yet it happened every time. The shuttle service was not provided. The only issue with this, was some restaurants were on different properties, forcing you to walk 30min The SPA was a complete let-down. The hydro-therapy room felt like a YMCA. With people screaming and the overall atmosphere feeling like a kiddy park. They had silence signs posted, but people ignored them. It was not a comfortable spot to wait until your massage. Instead of a relaxing environment, it was more of a loud party scene. Overall, this was one of my favorite trips to Barcelo. Minor inconveniences did not take away from the great service, great atmosphere, and clean areas and rooms. I will return, and I would recommend this property to others. I would NOT recommend the SPA. I would NOT recommend the Hydro-therapy. I would NOT recommend using the shuttle.

We went as a family to this resort to celebrate my dad’s 50th bday. It was almost impossible for the restaurants to sit us all 12 people together, so sadly we sat in separate tables. They were very strict with making reservations every day for lunch or dinner even if you saw a lot of empty tables. The hosts did not want to be helpful at all. They also don’t allow male guests to come inside the restaurants without long pants. Room service is not included. If you want to order food after 10 pm you have to pay the fees for every item even though it says it’s an all inclusive resort. The resort works with certain taxi companies so be prepared to spend extra money to get dropped off at the airport. Overall, not the best place we’ve stayed at. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Took my family last week an we have a good time only downside was that main elevator was broken an end up in the 4th floor an my wife have a bad knee. Food court is ok but the restaurant selection was outstanding a the location is just beautiful an very clean. Overall we have a good time.

I stayed at Barcelo for a week and it was a overall good experience. The resort is very clean and at any time you can see someone cleaning or someone doing maintenence which was impressive. The cleaning and maintenance staff there work very hard. I only have very few complaints about this place. For 1 the front desk staff I feel as though need a little better training. I was trying to extend my stay for an extra day and had to call a call center number who kept putting me on hold for literal hours. The front desk said that they could not extend my stay and the only way was through calling that number. It took half a day to extend my stay at the end of it all. Another issue I had was the fact that the buffet closes at 6pm and your only options for getting food was either going to the other resort via bus or ordering room service which you had to pay for. Other than these 2 things this resort was amazing. There are 4 restaurants and 3 of them in my opinion were amazing! The French, Japanese and Italian restaurants all had amazing food and amazing service. The Mexican restaurant on the other hand surpringly had poor service and the food was not that good. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Estuve alojada en este hotel 5 días con mi familia El personal muy agradable, atento y con muy buenos servicios El hotel esta maravilloso me encantó tiene un restaurante buffet y 4 restaurantes especializados Aparte por estar alojada en ese hotel podía ir a los 6 hoteles de esa misma cadena Barceló y consumir libremente todo lo que quiera íbamos a sus restaurantes buffet y a las barras sin ningún costó adicional. Los 6 hoteles están muy cerca uno de los otros y también pasa un bus cada 10 minutos que te lleva a cualquiera de los hoteles sin ningún costó Mi familia y yo pasamos una vacaciones fantásticas..
