It was worn out. Carpet was threadbare with dirt and stains ground in. Walls beat up, chipped paint. Check in staff was friendly and professional. Restaurant was empty.

The hotel is really nice. There is valet parking right on site, a restaurant on the first floor, and room service. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the staff was attentive. It's a perfect location for conveniently walking around downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this hotel many times because of convenience. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are not. But these past 2 nights will be our last. The heat was so loud all night that we never slept. We heard this from several people as well. The hotel was not busy. Maybe this is the reason. The bed is the only thing comfortable as rooms are very small. But that is true of many convenient DC hotels. But the HVAC noise is like a wind tunnel. The same thing is true in summer, but I thought they would have fixed it by now. Because the hotel is older, the winter is horrible as the hot air need to constantly go on to keep warm and it is not only beyond noisy, its is so dry !!

Excellent stay!

-Check-in was seamless, staff were all very friendly and polite, the room was clean and had nice amenities (book to keep, water), the restaurant has great cocktails, and the breakfast options were nice -Floor layout was a little strange, water pressure wasn't great and it took a while for the water to get hot Overall, a lovely hotel in a great location that we can't wait to stay at again :-)

We loved our stay

The stay was amazing and so was the majority of the staff. In fact, Wanda service desk representative went above and beyond. However, there one representative name Cooke who was rude. I decided not let let her overshadow what was otherwise an amazing stay
