Lovely quiet spot in great location
We stayed here for 3 nights to explore DC. Such a lovely quiet neighbourhood, but just a stone's throw from the capitol & all the major landmarks. Really close to the Capitol South Metro station too. Staff were friendly, room was comfortable & clean (although could do with a deep clean/decor refresh) & felt very safe - some gorgeous houses in the upscale neighbourhood! Try the Tune Inn around the corner for a bite to eat/drinks!

Nov 19th 2024 6 night Booking. My wife and I Checked in and checked out within two hours of being in the room. Hotel was rated 5 stars per Expedia. We experienced a one-star hotel. Unclean tub, sink faucet was falling apart and the toilet did not flush properly, carpet was filthy, stain in center of comforter.It was clear after looking around the room, that a makeover was attempted but failed. We voiced our dissatisfaction and absolute fear of staying there to a Expedia representative and received an offer for 100.00 credit but could not cancel or receive a full refund for the hotel portion of our package. we were told we had to follow hotel policy. We had missed the cancellation deadline which was Nov 18th. Our opinion, Expeida clearly had a misrepresentation of this hotel on there site to choose from and was unwilling to satisfy a customer after learning of our disastrous experience. I left my conversation with Expedia rep and supposably the manager with a feeling of been scammed.

My daughter & i stayed for 1 night before flying home from a soccer tournament. Bed was the best of our entire trip. Staff was friendly & courteous. Only preference that was missing here was the bathroom was very small, but they did the best with nice fixtures & accessories. We would stay here again.

Room is small and old, but it is clean and comfortable. It’s good place to stay for visiting the Capitol hill and Botanic Garden. The breakfast is not bad. Thank you to the staffs.
