Concierge Marquette is 5 Star
The 1st floor lobby for this Courtyard is small and busy. Check in is on the 2nd floor. Despite this, concierge Marquette is the BEST! He is welcoming and helpful with a great attitude. He also has beautiful handwriting. This hotel is very conveniently located next to the NoMa Gallaudet metro stop and one stop from Union Station. On the other hand, being so close to the tracks, both metro and Amtrak, you will hear train horns at random times. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked nice. Across the street are Subway, Five Guys, a birria taco place, and a 7-11 next door. A 5-10 minute walk away, depending on your pace, are Trader Joe’s, restaurants, and Union Square with funky eateries and a rooftop patio. If recycling is important to you, I don’t remember seeing any recycling containers in the lobby or near the elevators. They have some in the rooms but the cleaning ladies, not their fault, did not have separate bags for recycling. Overall our stay was great. Just remember to pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

I arrived early hoped I could get my room early but that was not possible. I decided to work in the business center as I needed to print a few things, not working. Disappointed breakfast is no longer included at this hotel, a year ago it was included. It was $90 extra if I wanted to include breakfast so I chose just to purchase on my own. Food was overpriced for the quality. 2 night stay, my room was not cleaned. Bed is comfortable, staff was friendly. Overall fine for my business trip, not sure I would choose again.

Hotel is a 3 min walk to the Metro station which makes it convenient to get around DC. I wouldn't necessarily walk around at night but DC is a big city and that is the reality. Hotel staff are awesome and rooms are very nice.

The staff were friendly & helpful. You could see the Metro Station from the hotel. It was easy to hop on & not a very long ride to see the memorials & museums. Also, the neighborhood had lots of eating options & I felt safe walking around in the early evening.
