I didn't realize that the hotel would be 1.5 hours drive from London Heathrow airport (although Google Maps shows it to be only 16 miles). So the drive there and back (to/from airport is a total of 3 hours - which we used Uber. I am also not sure if the guy that called me before my trip to confirm the details put my requests in (high floor, away from the elevator and if I could do a one hour delay in checkout time)... I won't even hold this against him/hotel though because I/we honestly had no major gripes. Vishal was phenomenal with our check in. Very pleasant. We had a drink in The Lampery and the customer service there was nice. Beautiful hotel. Loved the room (minus squeaky floor right before you enter the living area from the bedroom area (had a junior suite). We easily walked to the London Bridge, Tower of London, and Camden Market... Also found ourselves over near Big Ben and the Tate Museum! So we were just walking away. LOL. I would book here again or consider any other Apex Hotels if they are comparable to this one. Thanks, Apex City of London Hotel/staff!!

The only one thing I can complain about is charging me £18.50 for my 6 year old boys breakfast I actually thought this was a disgraceful which would probably stop me staying in the hotel again

I absolutely loved this quaint, tucked away hotel in a fabulous section of London. A lovely lobby sitting area, a pretty restaurant with very good food and friendly, helpful front desk staff. I was able to have an early check-in, and when my Uber didn't show up in the early morning on my departure day, the front desk staff quickly leapt into action to assist me. While it was on a quiet street, it felt very safe and was a five minute walk to multiple train stations. I truly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return the next time I am in London.

This was a spotless and well run, pleasant, city hotel. The front reception crew was excellent, The hotel offered amenities and breakfast for a fee.
