"Black Mountain is one of our favorite mountain towns to escape to in order to recharge our batteries. We were very glad to see that the town had not suffered much damage from Hurricane Helene.My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Blue Fox Cottage. As advertised, it is a very easy, short stroll to downtown Black Mountain.The Cottage was spotless when we arrived which is very important to us. The bedrooms were very comfortable with a special shout out for the quality of the mattresses and especially the bathroom towels. We were so impressed with the bathrooms towels that I looked them up on the internet to order the same towels for our home...We brought our dogs with us so the fenced in backyard was much appreciated. We didn't make use of the firepit but we did use the Sauna and Hot Tub during our stay and very much enjoyed both!Overall our experience at Blue Fox Cottage was excellent and we appreciate the effort the owner has put into making the home comfortable for their guests."
