"The room was clean. The bed was clean. The room was in a modern style. The staff is very courteous and nice. The only complaint I have is that other guests were rude at time by having elongated loud conversations in front of my room. Overall, I had a good experience. It was a good room and a good price."

"My group of 5 couples was originally booked to stay on the weekend that the hurricane hit Western NC in September. We are all from Atlanta and were very worried about the predicted direct hit to the metro Atlanta region. We were also a little worried about what would eventually make it to Western NC. We worked with the owners to find a new weekend in December and hoped for the best. The owners were amazing helping us to make this change and as we all know now, the hurricane hit to NC was devastating. Our trip was perfect. We were able to hike and eat and shop in downtown Black Mountain. The region is still suffering and slowly coming back online. However, my recommendation is go to this beautiful part of the country and spend your money. The house was beautiful and perfect for 5 couples to have equal amenities. We can't say enough good things about this house and the area. "

"Mountain Lure is just as described and more. The setting is beautiful. Nature surrounds you. The view is gorgeous. It was wonderful just watching the mountains, sky and clouds. Even watching the rain as it came and went. The night sky is unbelievable. The house is clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well setup for any number of culinary delights. Everything throughout the house is labeled to assist in finding items as well as for the light switches. The hosts are very accommodating and available to help however they can to make your stay all that they can. It was a wonderful stay. Once of the best vacation homes that we have rented and we have rented a number of them over the years. "
