"Such a cozy, clean spot for a relaxing stay! The host was so kind and very easy to communicate with. They left homemade bread, farm fresh eggs, coffee and creamer. I’ve never had such a generous host. If traveling to old fort definitely give this one consideration. I believe they have another property as well and I’m guessing it’s just as perfect!"

"The home is truly beautiful and the location was ideal. We had 11 adults and 8 kids between 4-12 years old but room for everyone. Needless to say the theater room was a big hit with the kids. "

Spacious house, with a full kitchen, plenty of towels and a perfect location for those who like to explore nature, we liked it so much that we stayed an extra night, the only thing we missed was a hot tub to complete the experience! We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Black Mountain!"

"Mountain Lure is just as described and more. The setting is beautiful. Nature surrounds you. The view is gorgeous. It was wonderful just watching the mountains, sky and clouds. Even watching the rain as it came and went. The night sky is unbelievable. The house is clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well setup for any number of culinary delights. Everything throughout the house is labeled to assist in finding items as well as for the light switches. The hosts are very accommodating and available to help however they can to make your stay all that they can. It was a wonderful stay. Once of the best vacation homes that we have rented and we have rented a number of them over the years. "
