"Minutes to downtown Black Mountain with the privacy of a mountain cabin. Super clean cabin with lots of space for a couple or family. We had a great stay and would go back in a heartbeat. "

"We were visiting our friend on Black Mountain and this house is literally her next door neighbor so the location was perfect. The house was lovely and well-stocked, very comfortable. I loved taking a book and a mug of tea to the two deck areas and enjoying the horizon.My only suggestion would be to add curtains to the square windows in the upstairs bedrooms (we had to use sleep masks), and consider adding a king bed to one of the rooms (personal preference, we are used to a king bed so we actually ended up sleeping separately in order to stretch out).But, we were happy with the stay and would consider renting it again if we come back to the area. "

"We love Montreat and this property does not disappoint. Clean, quiet and a pretty winter view. Our family enjoyed the fireplaces and fire pit. Furniture was comfortable. We would stay again. Driveway is very steep and shared. The only thing missing for us was lamps, as we don’t enjoy overhead lighting. "
