This hotel is very quaint and lovely. It has a nice pool and outdoor area. The staff was wonderful. Keep in mind that you can’t walk to town or restaurants from here. The onsite restaurant is good with a great view. Taxis and Ubers are easily available.

Ok hotel.
The hotel is rustic/colonial. The room is very big and our room had an amazing view. We did not like that there is a paper that says that the maid would be tipped with $100 or $200 pesos per day so the first day they cleaned the room but we were thinking to leave a tip the day that we leave but maybe maid didn't think same and she didn't clean the room. The person of the room seevice was not friendly maybe he thought we didn't left enough tip. Generally we consider the place is over priced.

Location is excellent - on the beach, fairly close to town, great service, restaurant food quality is excellent, room service was exceptionally fast. Rooms were authentically decorated and spacious (including a living room and kitchen!) Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but travel is easy and inexpensive if looking for the city life.

The stuff in the room at the hotel where one of the nicest we stayed in in Puerto Vallarta in the last 10 years the only drawback it is a little bit of the town but would definitely go back

Fabulous Mexican boutique hotel right on the beach with huge suites. The restaurant is excellent. Happy hour is a great way to meet people and the drinks are not watered down! Very short distance to town with all the restaurants, art galleries and entertainment. Will definitely stay here again

Excellent location. At check in, I was disappointed to see we were put on the first floor based on prior reviews. How wrong I was! Not only were these rooms much quieter than the upper floors due the remodel, it was very convenient to be able to open our patio door and have the pool right outside for the kids. This was our second time visiting Lindo Mar and the main reason we wanted to go back was the location and the staff. They are wonderfully accomodating! We went with another family and on our last day we wanted to take one last tour because we had a late flight. Lindo Mar staff not only allowed us a late check of 4pm, they allowed us to return to the room after the tour to shower before our flight home. Stay here, you will not regret it!

NEW YEARS CELEBRATION.

Used to stay at this hotel a long time ago and always loved our stay. I was a bit disappointed on the condition of the hotel and the quality and selection of the food at the restaurant. The service is still excellent.

Absolutely wonderful in every way!
We stayed in this resort for two weeks and will stay here again if we return. We speak next to nothing for Spanish, but had no trouble communicating with staff. The room was kept very clean and polished and it was well supplied in towels, linens, and necessaries. (You do need to supply your own personals like shampoo and conditioner.) Beach towels, beach chairs, loungers, and tables were all supplied around the pool and beach area. These areas were also kept immaculately clean. You can get the best exchange for dollars/pesos right at the front desk. Spanish classes on site too. Location: This was the best part! Lindo Mar sits right on the ocean. All rooms have open balconies that overlook Banderas Bay in a private and quiet setting. You can watch the spectacular sunsets, passing boats, sea birds, and watch the waves crash upon the rock outcroppings. The water is a spectacular blue/green and was a great place to snorkel and view the colorful fish. The bus stop is a few yards from the lobby entrance if you don't want the expense of a taxi. There is also a convenience store nearby as well as another restaurant if you choose not to eat at the one on site. The resort is located so that you can either go north to Mismaloya or south to Puerto Vallarta in only minutes. Anywhere you go in Mexico (including Walmart), get used to being approached by people selling time shares, restaurant promotions, and vendor sales. It wasn't so bad at Lindo Mar. A smile and No Thanks worked well.

Location, Location, Location
This hotel is in a prime location south of the Romantic Zone. Far enough away from the action to be serene and quiet but close enough to jump in a cab and be in the middle of town in minutes. All rooms directly look right over the ocean and small private beach. We never had an issue securing our own private palapa on the beach, no matter what time we arrived at the beach. Pool is small but really not an issue as the ocean water was warm and inviting. Great snorkelling right in front of hotel. Will definitely be returning. NOTE: They are doing an elevator remodel project and there was jack hammerring every day we were there. It was mildly annoying and the only reason I didn't give Lindo Mar 5 stars across the board.
