I booked 2 Superior Doubles- with King size beds. Check in closes at 9.30, so we didn’t stop for dinner on our way to make sure we made it (ended up not finding dinner after checking in). While driving, I received two emails, two (shortly worded) text messages and missed calls. We arrived and checked in by 8.20. The man at reception spoke to us like we were idiots, late and inconveniencing him. We later noticed that they were not, in-fact, king size beds but regular doubles. By that point, the main had left. I searched specifically for King size beds, and am unsure why we were harassed for being over an hour before closing.

We only spent 1 night here. The room was comfortable, adequate space. Bathroom was nice but only body wash; no shampoo/conditioner. Registration form to fill out at check-in that we didn't encounter at other places we stayed at. About a 15 minute walk from downtown Oxford.

Comfortable, clean stay in Oxford UK
Comfortable guest house within walking distance of Oxford center, university & along River Thames. Room was exceptionally clean. Some parking on premise (first come, first serve). Steep stairs, no elevator but that is to be expected in guest houses. Good place for solo, couples, families. Would stay here again.

We had a nice 2 night stay at this property. We had asked about early check in and were told it wasn’t available but that we could leave our luggage, which we appreciated. When we came to leave our luggage it turned out our room was ready which was wonderful. Our room had a newly renovated bathroom which was great. On the downside we had to carry our luggage up several flights of tight stairs, and there was no common area. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

Clean, spacious room with excellent facilities. Check in and check out smooth and easy. Very comfy beds and quiet location - we slept very well. Very convenient location, just a short walk to the centre of Oxford. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

The man on staff was very friendly and helpful. He allowed us to drop luggage off in our first day when we arrived in the morning but couldn’t check in until the afternoon, and again on our last day when we had to check out but our train wasn’t scheduled to leave until the afternoon.
