Everything in the hotel hallways is dingy, dirty, busted up baseboards and worn out carpet. The hot tub was full of sand, which was unpleasant to sit on. There were only two VERY flat pillows on each bed, and one mattress had a huge dent on one side from body compression over time, I tried to show that in the second picture. The floor in the room was sticky, though it looked clean to the eye, it was gross to walk on barefoot. There was also no chain or bar lock on our door from the inside so it didn't feel safe. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain regulally so it filled up with water and drained very slow. Front desk people were nice though, but the place is just run down and overpriced. We actually left after the first night of our 3 night stay. There are just too many other choices on Myrtle beach that are cleaner, safer, more comfortable and with better amenities than this place.

This side of the bed has a deep impression from overuse.

And while standing there, heard people had to do their laundry in 2 different buildings. Wash in one & Dry in the other & $2.00 in quarters for each! Not good at all!

Our room was nasty. Our refrigerator was rusty and our room was no clean. Also there was no on site parking. There was a washer but no dryer and the elevators were disgusting and the laundry room had garbage spilling out of it onto the hallway. The last thing is the TV did not work and get lagging or freezing.

We stayed two days here on a 9 day trip over the New Years holiday. We stayed NYE. Check in was easy and fast. The staff were super nice and informative. The location was really convenient as it was just far enough away from the boardwalk to not be crowded yet close enough to walk to. The beach is legit right behind the resort with great access. Our room was on the 5th floor with ocean view. Sitting on the balcony we were able to enjoy the ocean views and people watch. The room was nice, clean and was more updated than I thought it would be. The bathroom could have some work done to it as the vent was filled with dust like particles which blocked it completely. The toilet was loose and low to the ground. I did love the fact it had a jacuzzi tub. The elevator doors on the main floor were quite rusty but I’m assuming that is from storm flooding and salt in the air from the ocean. The pool area wasn’t too bad. It was big and added plus is the lazy river. It was pretty interesting how they can have it either indoor or outdoor with the covers over the outdoor arches. The night time around there is pretty sketchy however. Overall this is a great place to stay and I’d stay again but with more time to enjoy.

Don't do it!!!
The room i saw on line and the room i got were 2 different rooms. There was a lot of hair in the tub. The bed was so small when i rolled over, i rolled out of it on the floor. The door was not secure, you had to keep slamming it before it would catch and lock. It was overall a horrible stay. We left the next morning and went to another place.

Great family owned hotel. We have stayed here for over 25 years. The rooms are updated & clean. Our granddaughter loves the pool & hot tubs. They have a restaurant on site. Great place for family vacations.

I found blood on the sheet pigeons were attacking me on the balcony when I went out the one time could not go out at all after that there was 15 pigeons on the balcony like they own the place there was 10,000 pigeon droppings all over the balcony it smelt like ammonia could not use AC or heat Because of smell. They said they would clean it up. They never come and cleaned it up.

It had a very good location. It was clean, except for the floor in the room, which had a film of Sand on it. wasnt much , but was were it blew in when, the patio door was open. I loved the location, was just about perfect. I tried both hot tubs, and the lazy river, and indoor pool. the Hot tub in the shorter building where I stayed, was the best one, as for its power. The matinance guy was very, nice, as were the desk people. I would stay there again, and recomened it.
