Excellent experience at this property. Loft was exactly as describe, staff was helpful and responsive. There are a ton of restaurants and bars very close.

The room of the hotel was beautiful and very unique. However, the first night we had issues with our tv, we called and messaged the hotel staff, as well as watching and attempting all of the trouble shooting that was explained. We were told someone was coming to the room to fix it, after that we never heard back and we never had a working tv. We had a four night stay, and almost every morning from 3-7 in the morning, it sounded like there was construction right outside of our room. There was screaming/yelling and power tools for about 4 hours every morning during the week. Other than those things, the location was in a great area and had a lot to explore near by.

The only thing that I wasn’t too happy about was that we had to pay to store our luggage at a different location (coffee shop). It was great that it was close by, but to pay for it, not good.

Great location and really cool space. We liked everything except the bathroom area, which was not well designed and hard to navigate. The kitchen was great, the bed comfy, and it was easy to get into. It would be a 5 star rating if there was art on the walls!

This property is great for those that like a few more amenities. Fully equipped kitchen with laundry!!!! Bed was very comfortable Bathroom was three parts, open shower to the room so you have to be comfortable with your travelling partner. Close walk to everything in old Montreal . The overall Property is OK. I had an issue with the management as I ran into issue with the room (no heat) and they’ve upgraded it only after hour verification. Which served me no purpose as I needed to sleep with family. No compensation was provided for hours lost trying to put my kids to sleep and having them cranky.

The room was beautiful and spacious, If we had gotten to spend more time in the area it would have been the perfect space for us to cook and have space from each other despite it being a studio style suite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for short or long term accommodations!

Beautiful lofts and amazing location!
Our stay at David Hotel was amazing. The lofts are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well thought out. The property is quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We stayed at two lofts. The first was not as clean as expected (toilet was not clean and towels/shower had hair). We notified the David Hotel team and they brought in a new set of fresh towels. We moved over to the second loft to extend our stay and it was impeccable. They let us transfer directly instead of checking out then checking back in. Overall, our stay was amazing and it is in the best location close to all the restaurants, bars, and Norte Dame cathedral. I’d HIGHLY recommend staying here when visiting Montreal!

Not what I was expecting
The property is more of an upscale apartment rental vs a hotel. There was rarely anyone at the front desk and it took a couple of hours for someone to come to my room when I had a question about an appliance. The check in process felt very invasive with the AI generated videos and virtual check in. They do not give key cards so you have to memorize a few different codes to access your room as well as the front door to the property. I was scared I would forget the code if my phone lost power. Comfort-wise this is definitely a more “aesthetic over function and comfort” sort of place. The shower is in the main part of the room and does not have a proper door or curtain so the cold air hits anywhere that does not have a stream of water on it. Also the bathroom sink is located in the main area and does not have a lot of storage for toiletries etc. Bed is comfortable enough and i enjoyed the full apartment style kitchen. I also had to ask for my room to be tidied up after nobody came for 3 days.
