The hotel is in a great location but we feel they should have disclosed at the time of booking they are doing construction on extending the hotel we would definitely not stayed there and put up with 7am construction noise

The King room I booked would have to be the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was cluttered with a round glass table in a corner that was near impossible to sit at as the bed was right behind it. There was a chair which you could sit at on the wall bench, so the table is unnecessary. There were renovations going on next to our room so a very strong smell off paint. I didn't book a river outlook room, so didn't expect anything spectacular, however our view was a white wall a few meters away, so very average. The Hotel location is great however with the trams out the front. The lift to go to the main entrance was dirty also.

Room had red stains over carpet, had to get a room swap. Requesting this was challenging but eventually occured. Swapped room had A/C issues and maintenance had to get to rectify. Cleaners didnt replenish toilet paper or tissues often. Had to request from house keeping team. Found housekeeping team a bit delayed with getting to attending to our room during our stay. Found alot of errors on billing with Valet charges. Most times with Valet, had to collect my own car from the ramp and park it at times. Most staff were generally pleasant to deal with during the stay. The staff member who stood out the most was Juneric. He was very supportive during the room change, assisting with Valet. His attention to detail, work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond is highly commendable.
