I was pleasantly surprised at the size of our rooms and the cleanliness. I enjoyed that the hot tub was warm and open 365 days a year, however the hours are limited. It was difficult to get in touch with housekeeping and the front desk to ask for things. I got a text upon check-in stating I can text the front desk for requests but I never got a follow up. The front desk took a really long time to answer the phone (20 rings). I enjoyed the amenities such as the carousel bar and the coffee bar in the lobby. I was disappointed there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room, but I likened that there was a mini-fridge. The location is right off of Freemont so ask for a room in the south tower if you want a little peace and quiet. Overall, I’d say the plaza is a good budget friendly hotel!

Small rooms. Even smaller bathroom. Heater/air conditioner going out, and leaking something on floor. Unable to lock door to joining room. Very loud! No place to park to unload and check-in. Very confusing layout. In house pizza restaurant looked promising but was very doughy/uncooked. The pool hours are ridiculous.

These older hotels are ok for a couple nights stays for the deals you can get via various online outlets. The bed was comfortable enough. Rooms are older so their maybe that older smell from the carpet. Even though the room is no smoking you can still smell smoke in hallways and around areas of the hotel/casino. They have several pickleball courts near the pool and instructors are available if signed up. Customer service was ok. Public transportation runs nearby and on the same street so you can catch a bus to/from airport for six dollars one way. Best quality is location. This hotel sits across the street from Fremont street so you can enjoy all the activities that take place there with a very short walk. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times mostly for convenience.

Freemont Street Experience
Since we went to Vegas for the experience, not the hotel, we were suprised. The Plaza is a great location for Freemont Street. We ate breakfast in the on property restaurant eveey day. The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel was anle to place us close to two other ouples we travelled with.

Really 😏
They were fix drainage pipes in another room and the sewage came out in our tub. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The toilet was peeling. The bathroom floor was dirty. The bed you lay and all this dust was floating around. Was not pleased!!! Also the was muggy.
