This locally owned hotel was clean with creatively folded towels and newly painted halls and updating.There was a refrigerator, microwave and desk in this spacious room.The complimentary breakfast has" make your own waffles ", eggs, yogurt,pasteries and milk.Decaf was made available which many hotels don't do.There is a restaurant in the hotel.I frequent this hotel as my mom is in the nursing home, Madigan Estates.The staff have been very helpful.Houlton is quaint but has everything you need.It has 2 museums, a movie theater, winery, gaming, interesting restaurants, lots of beautiful farms, lakes and holiday events like hometown parades and fairs.There are plenty of trails to hike, fish and snowmobile.

I was very pleased with this motel. It was very clean and convenient to many restaurants in the area. They have a restaurant at the motel but we didn't go to it. We stayed in the suite with a jetted tub. It was a nice room, nice paint colors and wall decorations. The room was clean and had everything you would need. There was free hot breakfast which was also good. The area felt safe, they had locked doors and a security system. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting the area.

The room was very nice, the beds were super comfortable. We decided to grab something to eat at the bistro and the waitress was pretty rude. Didn’t have the best experience there. The morning breakfast was ok but the coffee was pretty much just water. That was disappointing.

The motel is easy access of 95 north and the room was clean. The lighting I. The room was good and easily accessible. It was expensive for this time of year (Fall) and could use some updating: new carpeting and pictures. The hallway carpet was worn and the baseboard molding was off (not a good look) with no explanation. Food at the bistro was good!

This is a lovely hotel. I love all the renovations; the new floor in the first wing where our room was beautiful! Our room was spacious and comfortable. When we have stayed there before, we went to the restaurant, but this time we had other places to be, so I can’t comment about it. We will stay there again in the future and plan on going to the restaurant.

This is one of the older hotels that does a good job updating their property. We enjoyed having two sinks with renovated fixtures; we appreciated the leather sofa with leg extension as well as two desks. But the best part was the view of the massive freshly-mowed lawn outside our bedroom. This was a great value!
