We have never had the issues with any comfort inn until we stayed at this one in Ellsworth, Maine. We stayed on the first floor and the hall smelled of weed and cigarettes. As newly former smokers due to health issues it was a major disappointment to experience this. Another issue was dogs. There were several occasions where dogs were barking, in a close by room as well as the hall. At one point we were trying to get the kids to bed and they started barking in the hall. Truly disappointed as we will never stay here again.

This Comfort Inn has to be one of my top 5 hotels I've stayed in in my 45 years of vacationing. Kudos to the management and their staff. You are made to feel at home from check in to check out. The hotel is so clean and supremely quiet which was awesome after a long drive. Thank you for your hospitality, we will recommend you always!

Brad at the front desk was awesome to work with. Valerie in the Breakfast area made sure we had enough to eat. She was a working hard person always filling the food and cleaning up the area. Would definitely stay there again.
