This is a very quiet location, yet close to the beach. The hotel and grounds are really nice and well taken care of. The daily breakfast on the patio near the outdoor fireplace was wonderful. Our room was very spacious, had great amenities, and had well curated furniture and decor. The staff was great and even drove us to and from our dinner reservation at Grasings. One of my favorite things was sitting around the fire pit during sunset. It was spectacular.

They think of absolutely everything here! Such a great location by the ocean, breakfast was fabulous, staff super friendly, great recommendations. Loved the complimentary 10 minute massage one day and car/driver. Hotel gym was great. Hard to pick what was my favorite, because there were so many perks. Cute rooms with a view, comfy bed and pillows, free parking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Our 6 night stay at the hotel was wonderful! It’s a well appointed small family owned boutique hotel. So many little perks that add up such as free breakfast, beach towels and chairs, chef prepared afternoon sip-n-dip, turn down service with fresh baked cookies, car service into the Carmel village. Plus, the gorgeous beach nearby Just a wonderful experience!

This hotel was simply beautiful. You can here the ocean when your outside enjoying their patio. Very relaxing. Very clean. Very friendly staff. We will come back for our 1st year anniversary. This place will always be special for us because we got married out here in Carmel.

Wonderful property with excellent attentive staff in a perfect location (1 block off Carmel Beach and walkable to town center). Car available to drop and pickup as well. Wonderful included breakfast service. The ONLY negative is we found wine, beer, and specialty coffee drinks to be overpriced. Loved it and will return!

Excellent place in a cozy, spotless environment. It's conveniently located, one can walk to the ocean, it's 1 block away. One can watch and hear the ocean from the Hotel. We had breakfast and it was great, the portions were reasonable and the flavor was very good. Rooms were comfy, staff was greatand helpful, besides being very friendly. They have a spa but I didn't use it. They have a very convenient shuttle service, where they take you where you need and they go pick you up later on. I definitely would go back and I highly recommend it!

For a property this exclusive, we should have been told that the restaurant would be closed the two days we were there. In addition the house car was not available. Our water and towel were not replinshed. And one day were told the wine at happy hour was free and the next day we were told that was false. Not a good look for a $$ hotel.

Only 5 stars available?
I went for peace and quiet and solitude and it was everything I was hoping for. Comfortable bed Excellent breakfast Free water in the mini fridge Cookies every night Excellent ocean view Walking distance to downtown (though they have a shuttle) Full size toiletries in the shower Soaking tub Spa on site Room service I felt pampered, but left alone, which was perfect. Could not have been happier.
