Beautiful location
The resort is beautiful. Our room was quiet and had a beautiful view. The staff was so friendly and helpful, this will be where we stay when we visit San Diego in the future. Also, the location was perfect.

Nice hotel on the beach but the room was very noisy, couldn't sleep past 6 any day. I thought being on the water away from any street noise would be very quite but between delivery trucks and maid/resort services starting at 6 am just couldn't get enough rest. Maybe another room elsewhere on the property would have been quieter. Otherwise a nice hotel.

A little disappointed that they have not refunded the deposit for charges at the resort which did not use. It is almost a week since we stayed and the charge has not been refunded back into my account as they said it would be when we checked in. Also parking was an issue when they had other events at the property.

This property came recommended to us but unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. The rolling of carts and trashes started at 6am and woke my four children up every morning. Very thin walls. We were by the pool that stays open until 10 and again could hear everything late. No option for late check out. Nice location and good food at the restaurant were they only plus.

I can’t believe we payed so much money for an old crusty property. The rooms don’t look like the pictures. Don’t be fooled. The carpet is disgusting, the wallpaper is peeling, the toilet is practically on the floor, and there was a small roach in our room.

We stay here at least once a year. We have made lots of family memories here. Now my oldest son has started bringing his own family too. The tradition continues on. The resort has beautiful views of the bay and is near the beach.

Understaffed and overrated
We booked a non-smoking bay view suite and were given a partial view room above smokers whose smoke easily traveled from their patio to our balcony and living room area. The trash bin in the living room still has the previous occupants waste. We immediately reported the issue but we’re not offered a better room. The restaurant was under staffed so the service took longer than usual to be seated and get breakfast. The staff at the front lobby are professional and helpful and the game room and scavenger hunt were fun for the kids. We tried calling room service twice from the hotel room phone but they never answered. One of the calls was rerouted to the lobby who just rerouted us back to room service who still didn’t answer.

Not recommanded at all!! Bad rooms mold smell not clean noist a/c Super expansive And the list is long... Theres much better hotels in san diego

Definitely older than what the pictures show, but still clean. Staff was awesome and friendly. Quick to fix our patio door which would not close and lock. Pool area very nice. Lots of chairs and towels available for use. Beach area looked nice although we did not use it.

I stayed with my family for 3 nights, our room smelled terribly of mold. Everything is sooo old, I can’t believe this hotel has excellent reviews! Beautiful garden, beautiful pool and restaurant, parking lot so convenient.
