Absolutely perfect option for a romantic getaway. Ocean view even from the bathroom. Really enjoyed the bathtub! Make sure to look at the sky at night. Would definitely come back. Only issue was we never received the email with the instructions to get in, we got there a bit late but thankfully the people at the restaurant told us which was our room and how to get in.

This property is a real gem! The location is perfect and it is well staffed. Unfortunately the mattresses feel like a slab of concrete 👎 That's the ONLY negative I have. I would still highly recommend this property!

I loved the view very much. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The beach was a real problem with rocks and there’s no place to swim without having to pay money. Also there was absolutely nothing to do at night except go to the bar. Transportation was sketchy and very expensive.The staff was very nice but hard to get a hold of. I tried to contact someone before coming to the hotel and no one ever called back.

After the first night we changed rooms, we were bit up by bed bugs. Barely got an apology. No one to assist guests after 5pm. Their beach club/bar/restaurant was hyped! but was closed during our visit. Closed for renovations, the whole time we were there, no one was working to reopen it. The bikes for rent were worn and nasty. The refrigerator was in serious need of defrosting.

Best beachfront stay ever!
We had a wonderful stay at Del Sol. We woke up with the sunrise every morning and that alone is a given extra. We had excellent maid service thanks to Evelia who was fantastic! The unit was very comfortable, it had everything we needed during our stay. Before arriving, the hotel sent us some recommendations about things to bring, and we're happy we read it because the local convenience stores have limited food items, so we brought along spices. The service provided by Teresa and Federico was of high quality. We can't wait to be back there soon!

Great value, for those looking to get away for a few days and just disconnect and relax. Property is on half moon bay which you can swim, but need to get past the few meters of scattered shoreline rock. Beyond the 1st 10ft from shore it’s soft sand and you should be fine for snorkeling. Also the Yal Ku lagoon is a short and pleasant 5 minute walk up the road. This has incredible snorkeling,and where you only pay a small entrance fee for a day wristband. You can also rent snorkel and fins for a reasonable rate, or bring your own. Very good beach bar/restaurant next door, and the walk into the main village is about 10 minutes. It’s a pleasant walk, but also have tuk tuk like transportation options always running into town. This is a very quiet, low key area for those who wish to just relax. No glitz or nightlife action. Great for families looking for quality family time. I would definitely stay here again, but maybe for only 2-3 days as I like a little more night life entertainment options. With that exception, everything else was wonderful at this property 😎👍

Beautiful view, right on the beach. Small simple room for my daughter and I - had what we needed and we LOVED the restaurant La Buena Vida! Room was clean, wifi was good, smart TV, but again the VIEW and the sound of the waves at night is what we loved most. Restaurant is about 100m S of the hotel. We loved the staff, the view and the food (Alberto was extremely helpful and a great server!) The Jungle Cafe is a short walk N and they do a nice breakfast. It’s a bit of a walk to the tourist area and even farther to the Pueblo, but colectivo (bus) and tuk-tuks are available to go snorkel, swim w turtles or visit local cenotes. We will be back!

Perfect location! The beach was right outside the door. I could walk or ride a bike to restaurants and snorkeling and into town.
