We have stayed at the Caribe Royale at least 30 times in the past several years. We live in FL and go to Orlando often. I was meeting my daughter there for Saturday and Sunday since she had to go back to school in Sarasota. When I asked about early check in, the young man at the front desk informed me that it would be an additional $50 to check in before 4:00. I asked him if we could park there anyway and wait, he informed me that we would not be able to because we wouldn't have a room key to get our car out if we decided to go somewhere. He "Informed" me that they are a 4 star resort. Not only did he lie to me (I found out Sunday the $50 fee is only before 1:00, and I got there at 12:30), but he was very condescending. I will not go back. I refuse to pay money for people to belittle me and treat me poorly.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Rugs and carpets need to be cleaned or replaced!. Some of the lobby's decor is super outdated. The upholstery in the lobby and sofabed is terribly out of fashion. I dont think this hotel is a good option for a family with kids. The staff were not very welcoming. I requested a good room for kids... they gave me a room that was the closest to a very noisy elevator. The music from the pool is super loud (is this a club or a hotel?) Super frugal complementary coffee/tea... (No decaffeinated options, no tea, no free water...) The line for Sturbucks at 8am was 30 min wait. And then, on Sunday, when the hotel is half empty... I requested a late check-out; only until 12.30pm, and that was an impossible task. No compassion. I am not recommending this hotel at all.
