While it was within budget for our travel plans I would've much rather spent a bit more on a slightly nicer hotel. Our neighbors were either inconsiderate, or the walls were paper thin (or both) as we heard the upstairs neighbor walking about as well as the neighbors on either side of us, with one bickering at all hours with her daughter, and her dogs barking each time a plane flew overhead.
A lot of the furniture in the room as well as the walls are in dire need of repairs as the nightstands, desk, and doors were all chipped and peeling. The walls in the bathroom and near the sink all appeared to have mold spots. Further, the lampshades, TV, undersides of tables/the bed, and the tops of shelves were all covered in a layer of dust. The ceiling is also in need of a proper dusting as corners or visibly covered in cobwebs. The bedlinens were pilling and did not properly fit the bed, which caused the corners to come off the bed multiple times and exposed a gained mattress underneath. Our curtains were also off their rail, which meant that we could not properly cover the window for privacy.
The neighborhood does not feel unsafe, but the doors were incredibly hard to close and lock without slamming them and pushing your body against it to get the lock to latch.
