First from the check-in receptionist who was very professional and friendly. This first impression made our stay with smile. We used the 3rd floor room and it was very nice and spotless clean inside the room. The balcony had some trash but it was gone next day after room service. Breakfast was wonderful with some local dishes gave us an introduction to Malta culture. For the dinner at Oceana Restaurant, most of the dishes were delicious, however there were some menu that was flavorless. but overall very good. Indoor pool(heated) kept my 2 and half year old daughter busy and she loved it. It was our everyday task to swim at the pool. Again we loved the hotel and the staff member too.

The Malta Hilton is a perfectly fine Hilton property. Like most Hiltons, it feels very institutional, is always a tad messy (why can't they vacuum the carpets more!) and the service is good, but not memorable. The dining room feels like crowded cafeteria. But at least the gym and spa were particularly good.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. All staff are so friendly & helpful. We only had breakfast and the food was amazing and very well organised. The views from this hotel around the marina are stunning. Am certainly going to return.

The view was excellent. The pool was one of the largesr I've ever seen. The entire facility was beautiful and perfectly maintained. Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Didn't find any dining options nearby that offered sea views except ar the hotel itself which was a bit pricey. We would stay at this hitel again

Failed expectations
Moved from initial room at far corner of hotel above kitchens. Cooked breakfast avoided after wife was sick within minutes of first breakfast. Hot dishes were left to get cold. Canapés were more like salads. Long drinks initially were mostly ice. Management responded to concerns and The Blue Elephant Thai restaurant was consistently good. Rooms lacked character with an office chair and an uncomfortable couch. More suited for business/events.
