OK. Home itself is nice but Not in good condition. Dirty dishes, couch broken, oven handle broken, black table very unstable, dvd player broken, tub doesn't drain well, shelf in fridge broken, beer can and dirty socks under bed.

Great stay, great space!

This rental was beautiful! Much more than we needed, but we booked it anyway. We enjoyed the large rooms and quietness. It was clean and had everything you could imagine; games, ping pong, shuffleboard, hiking (right outside the door). We brought our dog and had a very enjoyable stay. A+

4th of July weekend

Cons: We were surprised that the Family room did not have an A/c. No centralized A/c. Game room lighting needs a lot of improvement specially the ping pong table lighting. Too loud and old window a/c units.. Pros: Good location.. very safe. Walk in the woods was very nice.. backyard we setup a volleyball net and that was good.. dining table perfect for playing cards.. outdoor spot for fire was good.. Overall some improvments will make this stay even better.

Great for families with young children

We had our annual family vacation here and it was a great week. Perfect weather and the house was great. We had young children with us 10 months-5 years and the rooms were virtually sound proof which made naps and bedtime easier. We took day trips to mackinaw and the soo locks. Downtown Gaylord has a few fun places to go. There are also a few trails in the area, and one right behind the house, that we took advantage of. We will consider this location again next year.

Loved the back porch

The setting provided convenience to modern conveniences, yet was secluded and quiet with woods, large yard, and fire pit. Plenty of room for our large family. Could have used more seating in the kitchen, and would be nice if central air conditioned.

Family vacation ages 2 to 58. This home has something for everyone to enjoy. Close to Gaylord

Beautifully decorated log cabin home has a game room to enjoy with family. Host supplies firewood for bonfires. The layout of the home is perfect for big families. We will difinetly be back.

Golf weekend

A fantastic experience at a great location. Sue was super helpful with communication and laid out very clear instructions for the process. The cabin was perfect. It was clean, well organized and allowed for a very easy to plan weekend. I would stay absolutely stay again. It was a perfect location to access all the local golf courses with easy drives.

Beautiful House

This was our second time staying here. The house is very spacious. large enough to accommodate our family. Very clean! Well stocked! Peaceful, wooded location. Bonus room is great area for grandkids to play. State park is nearby with a sandy beach and fun to swim. Covered porch is is a great place to gather. Stocked well with inside games for rainy days. Sue is quick to respond to emails. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Tranquility

This property was in great shape and the location was awesome! We were only about 12 minutes from Gaylord which had everything you might need during your stay. Being in the woods was a huge hit for the kids and us. My father-in-law spent most nights sleeping outside on the wrap around porch! We all enjoyed that porch a lot. All ages from 8-62 enjoyed the rec room above the garage. This place was amazing and well cared for! Sue even reached out to let us know that the forecast was showing more humidity than previously and told me what to do to make it a comfortable temperature in the house. Thank you, Sue!

Great place for us to be all together and separate at the same time. There was perfect space and flow for everyone to gather all together or to separate into sub-groups of conversations and activities. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen, and comfy beds.

Quiet and wooded only bad thing is the very steep drive way no more then 3 trucks. don"t bring a boat no place to park it. over all very nice place to stay at. Are group would come back.

Family Time

Timber Valley in Michaywe is a perfect home for a large group. We only had 5 staying there, but there is plenty of room for more. The beds were very comfortable and having 3 1/2 bathrooms is a plus! We were in town for a memorial, but this would be a wonderful home for a vacation. It is immaculate and the little touches of paper towel holders in each bathroom was great. Sue the owner was great to work with and we really appreciated it. Thanks for a great stay! Dan and Karin

Fantastic getaway

The house was exceptionally comfortable and cozy. Very clean and welcoming. The pictures don’t do it justice. The property is private with all your shopping needs within 15 minutes away. My family and I (total of 7 adults and one 17 month old and 2 dogs) spent a week and were not crowded at all. The owner is easy to communicate with and very thoughtful and nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and kitchen fully stocked with all kitchenware. I would highly recommend this cabin for a great getaway and I look forward to coming back!!!
