The best way to get around is by foot, or by rental car or bicycle. There is a trolley and a bus that goes throughout the city, but to make the most of your time in town, having your own vehicle helps.
Pensacola Beach's coldest months are December through February and its hottest months are May through early September. Mid September to mid October is a great time to visit; you can dodge the soaring temperatures and big crowds of the summer months, the partying college kids at spring break and the chilly evenings of winter. Sounds pretty much perfect to us. Pack your swimsuit and we'll meet you there.
