Summery weather isn't limited to summertime in gorgeous Los Cabos, so shorts and a T-shirt are likely to be your uniform whenever you come. Spring and fall see the temperatures drop to a less sizzling level than summer, with less humidity and fewer rainstorms. Unsuprisingly, these are the peak times for tourists, so remember to plan as far ahead as you can if you want to grab a good deal on travel and rooms.
There's so much more to Los Cabos than sun and sand, but nonetheless, you'll need to put beach essentials at the top of your packing list. Here are some ideas for things to bring:
Los Cabos isn't necessarily an area that calls for much independent travel. But if you do want to get out and explore beyond the pristine section of coastline your hotel is on, then driving is the best way. Rent a car from a well-known chain to avoid scams. Alternatively, public buses will take you between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, and will stop along the coast, and there are several reputable local taxi companies you can use too.
