"The room was great very clean. I just didn’t like all the tweekers outside when I first was checking in. One of them approached my boyfriend’s daughter which is only 15 years old. Then he signaled out to some other guys that were riding around on bikes. Once we got inside it was nice. But it was the whole walking inside to the property that was not a good experience. "

"It was out of the way of the main downtown areas (squarely in between Monterey and Santa Cruz), but still close enough to drive to either in 20 or so minutes. Perfect if you want to experience the bustling cities without all the clutter. There was even a cinema next door if you just wanted to catch a movie to decompress. The rooms were clean and the staff very kind."

"I really loved this hotel. Older hotel, but very well cared for. The rooms were very nice and roomy. Bed was comfortable. The cookies in the lobby are a nice touch! The only slightly negative comment is that there is no elevator...not a problem for me. The parking was very limited. Close to so many things in the Monterey Bay area. Will stay here again."

"We visited family in Santa Cruz and this house, the landscaping, pool and all the amenities were amazing! There are many options for food and grocery delivery nearby and the house came fully stocked. Even the pots and pans were plentiful and new for cooking. The feedback with the owners was great and timely. Everything was absolutely perfect! Our kids loved the pool and the lizards that visited the property. They can’t wait to come back. This is our 4th trip to Santa Cruz and this is our top stay here - hands down! "
