10 out of 5 stars!
The hotel did not look very impressive from the outside but we were happy to find it was wonderful once we got inside. It is clean, the staff is friendly, very helpful, courteous and efficient. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Received a text from the front desk to welcome us and let us know they were available if any issues arose. The restaurant/bar downstairs was great! We went down to have a drink and ended up staying the evening! Prices were reasonable, food and drinks were good and our server was wonderful. Same server for happy hour and dinner with extra guests. Highly recommend this hotel!

Fun hotel. Problem with initial room with air conditioning but the staff sorted this immediately. Friendly hotel. Pricey for what it is but you pay for the location.

Not recommended this hotel
We chose this hotel because we were deceived by the website photos and the rating of an average of 4/5 and an average of guest reviews of 4/5. The first impression when we were approaching the hotel, we were completely shocked at the hotel’s shocking pink paint and a strip club-like exterior appearance. The location is absolutely terrible. The street and the neighborhood were invaded by zombies-like drug addicts, homeless people. There was no security in the hotel to ensure the safety of the hotel guests. We horridly saw that homeless/drug addicts hanging around next to the hotel entrance or close to the hotel or at the alleyway next to the hotel. A couple of time we saw the drug addicts/homeless people were so overdosed that they even pulled down their pants on the street. Another disgusting scene was that we saw human feces lying around on Granville street (just a block away from the hotel) while we were walking back to the hotel. That was extremely appalling. The room was small & the bathroom was ok with neat decoration & vanity accessories. Not recommended to stay at this Accor brand hotel!! The rooms are built on top of a zero soundproof nightclub. The aircon noise was unacceptable; we felt the vibrations from the floor below, we heard the loud conversation and music from next room until early hours. The restaurant and reception staff were nice; the housekeeping team need improvement. The garbage cart was pushed in the elevator while hotel guests were in it.

It is a hotel close to everything, clean, comfortable beds, the employees care that you are well all the time and are very friendly, they support you in everything, the only thing to consider is that in the area there are many bars and at night there is a lot of noise.

The rooms were small and overpriced. As a VIP member I was not honored the free upgraded room, but instead had to pay for it for some reason. The area outside the hotel felt very unsafe. The management was however really great in that they did allow a refund for an early check out as well if we were to change hotels for not feeling safe which was really great.

An excellent hotel
I loved this hotel. Service was great from everyone. Location is excellent to explore the city. The room was nicely decorated with good facilities, including great air conditioning and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and discounted for Accor members. The only downside is that the neighbourhood around the hotel has a lot of homeless drug users in the streets. I know it’s a city wide problem and beyond the hotels control.
