Great place, clean and comfortable. Our late arrival was well handled with how to get in and how to obtain the room key. Unfortunately the washing machine was not working on this trip. No alternative offered or suggested. I don't know Toronto. It worked out fine in the long run. We used it on a previous stay. Economical and convenient. Be prepared for stairs with your luggage. We were in a 3 week holiday and had a bit to carry up the stairs Dinner was many places and options within a 2 block walk.

I like staying at Victoria's Mansion because it is right in the gay neighborhood and on a beautiful residential street. I like the fact that it is a short walk to the Wellesley TTC station and near a very good restaurant, namely, Bumpkins.

Great location for transit stops and attractions, nice quiet spot in nice building, room was lovely - bed and pillows excellent and everything quite clean. The room we were in was lovely, but due to the property being an old mansion, the walls were very thin. We could easily hear the people next door to us arrive at half part 2 in the morning. Not anything the owners can do about, but something to be aware of when booking. We didn't necessarily like the idea of an unmanned reception - we only saw someone there once in the three days that we stayed there, but when we called to leave our bags the staff were very helpful. The location was great though - a very quiet residential street, but close to the metro station.

Great location. Safe for walking around and convenient to places we wanted to go. KellyAnn (the only staff we met) was very helpful. Lots of supplies available. Nice to have a small suite with kitchen etc. We were able to arrange laundry access as well after being a week away without laundry. No elevator to the basement where our room was so we had to wrangle suitcases on the narrow stairs
