Aloft is not for everyone, but it's just my style (seems to attract folks in their 20's-40's). I have stayed at Aloft in various locations, and it's nice knowing what to expect. Here in St. Louis, I had very good experiences with the front desk person, who was knowledgeable and courteous.

The property had great amenities and looked stunning as well. Very trendy meeting spots, Instagram worthy areas to hang out, a bar, gym, patio, balcony, pool table, swimming pool, made to order breakfast, and treats whenever a craving hit. The connected restaurant was quite good when the hotel service wouldn’t hit the spot. Perfectly close enough to ride share downtown or to the Forest Park, I loved this quiet industrial area. The staff was kind and exceeded my needs. Only, housekeeping came when I (mis-)understood they’d come as requested, and I think I lost a bit of laundry to some sheet cleaning. Clean sheets were appreciated but I would’ve maybe taken care to hang up the do not disturb sign. Parking was at a distanced structure, with shuttle service, and was billed several days after my stay; They promptly helped me determine the charge when I called. If I came to STL again I would absolutely stay here again and I would look for Aloft in other locations since I was so delighted here.

Aloft doesn’t disappoint
In St Louis for the night. Hotel seems new. Lots of nice seating for groups and more private in the lobby area. Courtyard is very large with lots of tables and fire table. Parking is not convenient. You have to park down the street in a garage and pay $25.00. Room was nice and beds very comfortable. Overall it was a good choice.

The overall property was nice. The pool was clean as was the gym. Our room shower had hairs in it. Everything else in the room was clean. Our toilet paper holder was broken upon arrival. I like that you could get in the train very easily. The parking garage is slightly inconvenient though. We tried to check out at the front desk but couldn’t get a person to pay any attention.
