Property was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful, but the staff definitely got less stars because a lot of them they don’t speak good English and specially in the buffet area. The staff is terrible. They take your order and they never come back so on our last day I had to call this guy and tell him about it and then he started speaking perfect English he said OK ma’am I’m sorry about that and today you will have A1 service. Not sure what that meant but that day we did get A1 service. My daughter was pregnant and she was having difficulty sitting in the chair so she asked the waiter for a cushion and he just did not understand what she was asking for finally after asking a few other people we did get the cushion, but it was frustratingStaff in all the service areas definitely need a lot of training.

It was easy to get around the resort and not so crowded. It’s very family/kids-friendly! Kids like the kids club and shows. Foods were decent and we could good find menu items that we liked.

Overall a good stay although the service at El Molina restaurant could have been better. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table because no tables had been cleaned off. One night our toilet plugged up and after calling and no one coming to fix after an hour I had to walk to the front desk to get some service.

The property was under construction on one wing of the hotel and the noise continued until 10:00pm. We were informed of the construction after our booking. I lost my phone and one restaurant manager went above and beyond to help find my phone so thank you Carlos Ochoa! I would go back after the renovations are completed.

Absolutely amazing place! Went with wife and 2 teenagers Christmas week. The facilities are amazing, but the people are absolutely the best part. The construction had paused and we were actually got one of the new rooms which were really nice so I would recommend requesting those if available. All the pools were open and only two restaurants were closed. The food was good, but the selection was amazing. There was always something for everybody. The pools were great and I highly recommend renting a cabana for 120 bucks a day that guarantee seats and shade and the waiters came around every 15 minutes for orders. Rent one near the pool if you get little kids or you want to see the activities that the staff puts on during the day. If you want a little more peace and quiet then rent one down on the beach The beach is open and amazing. Well, you could tell the hotel was pretty well booked up and was busy. It never felt overly crowded. The place is big enough and had plenty of stuff and activities. We Even got to see baby sea turtle make their way to the ocean if you get up early in the morning. Also super safe and no concerns at all with having our kids explore the property without us. I highly recommend Hyatt Ziva as I couldn’t imagine a more relaxing vacation with great facilities, staff, and views!
