We have stayed at the Rose’ 3 times now and we love it! The staff is amazing!! Our only complaint is that the beds are too hard! Can’t stay in one position for long as the bed is so hard and starts causing pain!

The building is a bit quaint, but it's clean, spacious and well-maintained. The beach just in front is swimmable, which is a big plus for my family. The staff was kind and courteous. The overall experience was excellent. Breakfast buffet (served until noon) was great. Pool/beach side food was very good. The dinner buffet at the main restaurant was a let down on the first couple of nights, but other nights, it was better. Moreover, there are other good places to eat at the next door PB property and PB sunset beach (15 min shuttle ride away). The location was only a mile or so away (a short ride or a walk) from the Marina where a lot of activities can be taken (whale watch, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc). I'd come back.

- All inclusive resort however only 2 restaurants in the property you can get ala carte menu! - the buffet not good at all, a lot of choices of foods however taste bland! - you need to wake up 5 or 6 am to claim beach or pool chairs. - fitness center not allowed 13 years old child; 6 foot tall to use the facility. - all staffs looking for tips even it said all inclusive - beware of timeshare! As soon as you check in they call it welcome package that turn out time share !!! - Beach is unusable! Every 5 seconds a vendor trying to sell you something - weekend restaurant not open till 8 am. - front desk told us we can order room service any time turn out not true at all ! 6 am we tried to order something for the kids turn out they cannot accept any order. - will not going back! Book new year table, no thank you, the staffs pretty much need to re train not friendly at all !!

They asked us to sign up for excursions. Was told it would only be 90 minutes, went to a different location and was not told the right things and didn't get anything scheduled and $20 deposit back

The beach and the water was great but that’s the only thing good about this trip. It is all inclusive but there’s only a buffet and one other restaurant with minimal choice of food that wasn’t that good at all, no drinks or snacks in the fridge, stove barely worked, musky smell as the hotel is pretty old. The price wasn’t that cheap so it was definitely not worth it, I had much better experience in Cancun for the same price. There’s no way that i would go back to that resort again.

We have been here several times and the hospitality is always amazing!! Louis always takes care of us when dinning, and the rest of the staff is amazing. We wet fishing brought back our catch and had the most amazing meal.

We were super excited for our christmas vacation, and it didn't take long to ruin it. When I made the reservations, I booked for luxury suite with partial ocean view, and when I checked in, they 'upgraded' our room, which had no views, dirty, very bad odor, and noisy from the engine room. We were so disappointed with everything, and we asked to see if there's any other options but weren't very helpful. In fact, they told me that the engine room would be shut off during the nighttime, which was not true at all and it ran all night long. It was too late so we stayed for a night. The next morning, we found cockroach in the room as well. I complained and asked to transfer to another property, and they finally offered to move to Blanco, which is right next to the Rose. Thankfully, the room situation was better than our initial room, but still, it was below our expectations. My wife found another cockroach that was as big as my thumb and it was terrifying. Once we transferred, no one could figure out how to transfer the account on the app so we couldn't use the app which was very inconvenient. I had to call or go to the lobby to request instead of using the app the whole time. Overall restaurant staff were pretty nice and foods were good at few restaurants. Offering the shuttle service to the Sunset was nice and we went there couple times to enjoy the facility. Would I go back or recommend to someone? I don't think so.
