-Had been taken over by Old Orchard Inn, we were not notified. Wifi for Atlantic Birches did not work (ever), no one in the inn to ask questions of, even during the day.
-No breakfast in the inn, had to walk down the street to Old Orchard Inn with wet hair for what was a woeful breakfast. First morning was kid's cereal (literally only choice), stale bagels, hard boiled eggs, bad coffee. Another guest told us about yogurt (all sweet) in a small refridg. No one ever came into the dining room to refresh anything or tell us anything - like whether to clear the table or not. Apparently they forgot to put the bin out for used dishes.
-Second morning - no coffee, no one around to ask. Finally went into the kitchen ourselves and found a pot. Store-bought small muffins and treats and sausages and cooked eggs were added that day.
- No one came into our room the day after that first night for towels or straightening up. Showered with wet towels from floor.
-Room freezing at night. Asked after second night - they said they would adjust temp - did not.
- Overwhelming floral like smell noted when entering the room - febreeze? Weird laundry detergent?
-Dirty carpet.
-Had to figure out how to remove the firestick and reload to get the TV to work.
-No literature in room to tell us re: fire exit, who to call if problem, recommended restaurants, the usual stuff you would find in an inn. The only number was on a paper taped to the outside of front door and half hidden under a wreath.
