Welcome to Mermaid By The Sea.
This spacious beach home property features a luxurious main house, a private cabana studio and a separate retreat all for your use and enjoyment. The outdoor patio area is equipped with a pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, wet bar, BBQ and an outdoor fire place, perfect for entertaining or to enjoy with your family. Inside you will find a gourmet kitchen with new chef quality appliances and beautiful décor throughout. The house can sleep most any group with two cal king beds, three queen beds and one queen sofa sleeper. The garage area allows parking for up to 2 vehicles, but for guests without a vehicle, you will find that it is an easy walk to many local hot-spots, restaurants and beaches.

Perfect multi family stay
We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding near by and needed a nice place to have multiple family members in one place. Having the pool and spa was great. Kitchen was well supplied and gorge. House exceeded expectations!

Great home for large family
From the moment you walk in you know your going to enjoy your stay. The house is not only beautiful, but much larger than the pictures show. There are many areas to relax in, visit with others and just get "away".The pool area equipped with bar was a great hang out for our family of 8 adults and three children. Bedrooms are large and beds are super comfy in all rooms. Laurie is great to work with and it is obvious she takes great pride in assuring each guest is comfortable. Would definately stay here again

They thought of everything!!
Can't say enough good things about this house! It truly has everything you would ever need. Beautiful coastal chic decor, bedrooms and space for multiple families. Our teenagers took over the cabana studio and all slept together up in the loft. We enjoyed every outdoor space available including the gorgeous, heated pool and jacuzzi. The garage had bikes, chairs, rafts, games, anything you could need on a beach vacation. We also enjoyed many of the nearby restaurants in So. Oceanside as well as up by the pier. Laurie was awesome in her communication! ITS A 10!!

This was the perfect house for our family reunion. There was plenty of space and lots to do for our three generations. We loved the pool and hot tub—and what a nice touch that the host made pool toys, board games, and bicycles available to us. The house is gorgeous, clean, and well stocked. Incredible house, something for everyone!
A wonderful 4 days with family. Room for everyone, swimming, hot tub, croquet, outside grilling, sonos music through out. Wonderful master bedroom where the sound of the ocean puts you to sleep at night. Close to the beach and Oceanside eateries. Laurie is an incredible host. Accommodating in every way. This is our 4th year visiting and it won’t be our last.

Beautiful.
This house has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of items for fun (bikes, beach equipment and toys for the pool.) The heated pool was a plus. Our family had a great time and felt very comfortable. We hope to visit this property again maybe in the summertime.

As always, communication is spot on with property managers going above and beyond expectations whenever problems arrive! Laurie is always kind, friendly, and efficient! Thanksgiving Break
This has been by far the most smoothest VRBO we have been in. Also this property is perfect in every way. The house was clean and very functional. The kids had an amazing time in the heated pool. Beautiful estate with room floor everyone
I can’t say enough good things about this property and Laurie. We had a group of 12, from 2 to 75 years old. There was enough space for everyone to be together and be apart - which was really important. House had everything you could possibly need. Plan to stay here next year!

The house was beautiful. There were 12 of us and accommodations were perfect. Plenty of linens, kitchen was fully equipped, outside space was amazing for relaxing, playing games and watching sunsets. Mermaid Magic
Our family of 6 adults and 4 young children really enjoyed our get together at the mermaid house. The home is spacious and well maintained and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ask for. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. It is in a lovely part of Oceanside with a quick drive to the sandy beach at the pier. We all enjoyed the pool and our 4 year old granddaughter actually learned to swim there. Laurie was great to work with and answered all inquiries promptly. We made lots of memories and are grateful for our time at the mermaid house.

Perfect family vacation!
This beautiful house fits our growing family perfectly. We have younger children, teens & adults and the set up couldn’t be better. It’s stocked with anything you need from spices to sunscreen. We enjoyed sea world, went to the beach every day and enjoyed the incredible pool and hot tub right outside our door. This is our third visit and it won’t be our last!

The perfect place!
This beautiful property is even better in person than it looks in the photos. Sparkling clean, with tons of gorgeous natural light, ocean views, multiple outdoor and indoor sitting areas, comfy and quiet bedrooms, and a stunning kitchen that has everything you could ever need. Our group of 7 adults was comfortable and never crowded. The pool and jacuzzi are divine. You are one block from the ocean, and conveniently located near great restaurants. Laurie was lovely and completely responsive to all our questions and requests. We feel really lucky to have found this beautiful home, and we hope to return!

It's a vacation in a house!
This place is specifically curated for comfort and fun. We were there to celebrate our grandmother who once lived in Oceanside and this place let us enjoy the area and each other perfectly. Lots of games, activities, space, hangout areas (inside and out). Awesome views from the many decks and patios. And the hostess was extremely receptive and helpful. You can't help but love this place!

We had a great time at this property. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and the house had everything we needed. The only thing I would change is the bunk beds for kiddos are in a separate house (they ended up sleeping in the larger beds with us). We weren't comfortable with them being that far away from us, but if you had teens it would be fine.

The Perfect House!
THANK YOU Laurie! We couldn't have chosen a better place to host our family while we were in town for our daughter's wedding! The house is absolutely gorgeous, fully stocked with everything you can possibly need. Plenty of space for 8 adults and 4 kiddos! We loved the pool toys, beach toys, bikes, yard games, etc. Laurie was an absolute gem to work with from the moment we booked, until the moment we left. Celebrating our new RECON Marine
Where do I start? From the minute I inquired about the property, Laurie, the host, was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful in every way. When we got there, she met me and showed me around the great spaces in the house and even had snacks there for us. The home is well stocked with everything for cooking in or door dash is a quick delivery option. The house itself is GORGEOUS, in a fantastic location with the sound of ocean waves crashing right outside, clean, super comfortable all while being luxurious! Our group loved the garage full of bikes, pool floats and ocean toys. There wasn't one thing we felt wasn't well thought out and provided at the house. Thank you again, Laurie and Tom, for letting us celebrate our new RECON Marine in your amazing home.
