"We had a great trip to the Ocala/Silver Springs area. The cabin was great and the suggestions by the host were spot on. We rented a canoe at Silver Springs and saw manatees, alligators and monkeys and went swimming at Silver Glen Springs. We also went to Gator Joe's which was fun local place. The cabin itself was comfortable with some very creative touches to it. They have a nice fire pit and provide everything but the marshmallows. We brought our own and had a good time roasting them. The only issue we had was the cabin was that it isn't very bright. This was partly by design but also partly because some bulbs needed to be replaced. "

"We stayed at the cottage with our 2 kids and their friends (4 kids, ages 10-17) for our spring break. We live in a beach town and were looking for a Central-Florida experience away from the coast. The cottage was perfect for our group, with plenty of sleeping space and outdoor activities. We were able to paddle Silver Spring Run, hike and geocache in Salt Springs, and zip line go for a horseback trail ride at the Canyons. Despite our active, busy days, the kids ran to the lake as soon as we returned to the cottage to use the pedal boat, kayak and fish. The weather was perfect for a fire and s’mores at night. The host was responsive when we needed an early check in to avoid bad weather and was helpful throughout our stay. The only negative was road noise from the nearby highway, but it still felt like an escape to a peaceful lake. Great experience!"

"My husband and two adult daughters loved the peaceful beauty of this place. It had all the comforts of home but was better because we had a beautiful lake to kayak in and admire and a hot tub to soak in! It was a very clean and comfortable house too and had everything we needed. "

"Plenty of bedrooms, nice visiting area and dining area for families. All the amenities, just bring your groceries. Relaxing is easy around the firepit at night. Close enough to attractions either west or east for day trips. This is our second time for a week-long stay. Very friendly and accommodating."
