The property is dated and the hotel is understaffed other than the front desk. Restaurant, bar and convenience store are all understaffed. Dirty tables, with leftovers are sitting there for extended time and service is very slow. My husband was very disappointed about his staek for $105.

Rooms were on the small side but comfortable. My breakfast could have been better......bacon disappointing (limp, perhaps microwave heated), potatoes cold. Grounds are beautiful......

The rooms are old for a Fairmount. The pool and gym were excellent. I typically stay here for thanksgiving and have been doing this for the last 6 years and have noticed the hotel needs an upgrade. The valet guys were excellent very friendly and helpful. Ask for a room close to an elevator. I was given a room far away from the elevator #558.
