I thought for the price it was a decent place. Location on the beach was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hours at the gift store were hit or miss but i understood they were short staffed. Walkable to the large souvenirs stores as well as several restaurants. Was a 22 dollar Uber ride to and from airport and was about a half way point to Broadway on The Beach to the south and Barefoot landing to the north.

Requested over six months prior to be located no higher than 5th floor because of my problems with heights and I wanted a balcony so I could sit outside and enjoy the water. I was given a suite on the 14th floor and I was totally afraid to go out and sit on the balcony. Both receptionist said there was nothing they could do. We go to Myrtle Beach often but we will never stay at that location again.

I was appauled by the actual spots in the room that was visible enough to housekeeping on the cleanliness of things customers have to pay for to stay at the property. I took pics because these were eye sores that i seen as soon as i did a walk through.

The property is defintely a resort. Lots of things to do whether it's the laundry, pool, going to the beach, dining you have it all at your convenience. My only issue was the interior upkeep. Inside the building smelled amazing, but the carpets looked dingy. Especially in the bedrooms. A lot of the stuff were outdated, and the sheet had stains. You do have the convenience of a refrigerator and stove if you want to save money.

Check in process was lacking. The room was not ready almost a hour after check in time which was frustrating when we flew into town. Guest service couldn’t care less that we had to wait. Daily we noticed cleaning staff on their phones in the hallway. Which probably accounts for the delay in getting the rooms ready for incoming guests. Pool area was mediocre, gift shop lacking, lazy river could have been more in the sun or at least heated. The showers coming off the beach only work for your feet. I would not stay here again. There are much nicer resorts with better hospitality. Kid of disappointed.

Had a very bad experience with cleanliness and kitchen is so small that you can’t even cook there properly. Also, there is no dish washer which is very inconvenient. It’s dirty and very not communicative even after addressing the issues. When asked for changing the room, it was very expensive and huge differences in price. Even after requesting the room cleaning service, it was not done and keep delaying the service. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

The location was great. Our room was not cleaned properly. There appeared to be mold on the ceiling, walls, a/c unit, furniture, and vents which I did report. Someone was sent to spray Tilex to clean some off the ceiling. The smell in the room smelled like damp/mildew the whole stay. Housekeeping did not take a replace out towels during our 3 night stay. We had to call for new ones and give them the used ones.

I was expecting a better experience for the price paid. The hotel is outdated, elevators are dirty and some people had hard time to see the faded numbers on the panel. I had to go down 2 floors to get ice due to not working ice machines, balcony door at my room was heavy and hard open and close. Breakfast should be better for the price charged. Parking is a problem, I was out for dinner and had to wait over 20 minutes for an open parking space. Not everything was bad, the hotel is in a wonderful location nice and quiet neighborhood.

Don't stay here!!!!
I typically don't leave reviews, but this hotel is the worst hotel I have stayed in. The room did not look as advertised, the dresser drawers smelled horrible like throw up, and the carpet was old and dirty. The room smelled moldy and musty. We put the privacy sign on the door and left valuables out thinking that no one would come into the room, and the cleaning people came in. While they were there, they dropped my car keys to the point where the key popped open and the lock, unlock, and trunk buttons fell off. When we returned to the room, we noticed that someone came in and took the towels off the floors and took out the garbage. I immediately went to the front desk and showed them my broken keys and explained how this was a safety issue as we have 2 young kids. The management refused to do anything. They blamed me for the broken key and said that it was old. I find this to be terrible customer service and careless of management because this is a major safety concern for people to come into the room even with the privacy sign on the door. The elevators were also an issue like other reviews described. Parking is also across the street so you have to walk a way to park. The only good thing about this hotel was the pool/mini water park and the arcade. This hotel is located far from the boardwalk/main area so it's better to look for a hotel closer to that area.

Would stay again under different circumstances
The hotel did have a great view of the ocean can’t complain there but, the main thing that disappointed us was out door did not lock and wouldn’t lock without a paper being stuck into the door frame which was crazy. Other than the door not locking it was a decent place to stay especially if you have children, also very greatful they have their on parking areas. My children loved their activities they had onsite. And the beach access was phenomenal.

We had black mold on the ceiling and the room has sand on the floor in the bathroom and the kitchenette and bathroom floors were very slippery. There was a smashed bug on the wall. In general the room needs an upgrade. View was beautiful.
