Was good for a rest from a layover. Airport pick up was kind of vague, one employee said pickup was on the hour, another said every half hour. Pickup area between 5 and 21, large area and do much traffic, it was hard to spot driver. Thank goodness an officer was able to spot pickup van for us and flagging down.

On site dining had very limited hours. Only near restaurant was flavorless Chinese food only available at their rear door in their parking lot. Front desk staff were fairly lackadaisical about helping customers. Requests for tissue, callbacks for transportation, dining information, etc were basically ignored. They seemed undertrained, ill-informed and definitely unmotivated. There was always a line waiting for help.

We needed to get a blanket, but the food from the "canteen" was a surprise and good. The room was comfortable. The property is a bit aged, but in a great location. The airport shuttle worked out really well for us this time. Other hotels we've been stranded at the airport for an eventual pickup nearly 3 hours after we landed. If you get there at the right time, there is a nice Thai restaurant that is "not too far" to walk to. Other options as well. The trip back to the Airport was very smooth. 45 minutes from leaving the hotel to through TSA and seated for Breakfast at the Irish Pub on the D Concourse.

Check-in took over an hour. Every check-in encountered a problem. I was charged one hundred dollars at check-in just in case I damaged the room. This place was DIRTY! The furniture was broken and there were holes in the chairs. The neighborhood was very sketchy too. Do not stay here.

Place looks old and unkept. room amenities are close to none (towels are old and stiff, beds are old, sheets are ok but pillows smell and there are zero toiletries). Shuttle service is ok if you're willing to wait 30-60 min as they run a less than frequent schedule and when they have large groups of people checking in/out you better call an Uber. Wouldn't stay there again unless it was the only hotel with available rooms after missing a connection in MIA (again).

I appreciate the quick response from Mr Molina, GM. The hotel is really in poor condition, too many issues to mention. Poor or unresponsive constomer service from guest service staff. I look forward to seeing the renovation coming in spring! Management response was excellent!

Communication regarding transportation was limited. Front desk clerk was uninterested and worked like a robot. Not friendly at all. First room did not even look to be cleaned. No water in toilet, sock over smoke detector, bed ruffled. Did get a 2nd room which was better however the room was hot even thought the air conditioner was only high. Not a very homey feeling. Was happy there was a shuttle to port available. That was easy.

Horrible experience
The worst experience ever. The first day we have to complaint about the water getting stock while we took a shower, nasty. The room was full of mosquitoes. The hallways have a bad smell. I would never stay at this hotel. I do not recommend. Horrible experience. The only positive thing is that they made the beds and brought new towels daily, that's why I gave 1 star.
