Nice hotel for a business trip.
I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Catedral, I think it was a good value in a walkable area to see the Aztec ruins, the art museum, governmental buildings and many good restaurants. There were many police patrolling the area, keeping everyone safe. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good variety. The traffic in the "old city" center is terrible, it was over an hour drive to the hotel from the airport, but going to the airport for an early morning flight the drive was 12 minutes. It was difficult to get in and out of the area each day. I would stay in the Hotel Catedral again, but if I brought my wife, I would upgrade to a hotel on Reforma.
