The review from a month ago by, Moazzam Afzal, is verified by my recent one night stay at this hotel. The room smelled of mould. The wallpaper seemed new. Unfortunately, mould will still seep through wallpaper. The window screen protector had a big hole and had to be kept shut. I had to turn on the A/C to tolerate the smell. The toilet bowl had not been cleaned. The sink was clogged. How did housekeeping not notice the condition of the washroom. The only conclusion would seem the room was not cleaned. The towels, bed pillows and bed sheets seemed like they had been reused for the past twenty years. Dust everywhere. Needless to say, did not get much sleep and could not wait to leave!!

Budget friendly motel near Windsor
Selected this hotel for its price and reviews. This motel requires some TLC as the carpet throughout needs to be replaced and rooms need to be upgraded/freshen-up. Friendly staff. Very average breakfast included and closes too early in the morning. Rooms are adequate and comfortable enough. Recommended if cost of a stay is an issue.

The staff were very helpful and all of what was offered upon booking was delivered. However, I did not have working bathroom lights on the first night and noticed some staining on one of the beds. The carpets through the main facility/stairwell were quite dirty, and the appearance of the hotel seemed a bit drab. I would recommend brighter, clean colours if redecorating; a thorough clean of carpets (or remove them) which would help with the looks and smell; and a better variety of breakfast. Unfortunately, there wasn't much I could eat. Fruits were browning, but I did eat a bagel. A flavoured bagel would've been lovely.
