very big and beautiful hotel, very nice views, area around are great. clean and good condition 1 bed room suite. but on the second day our kitchen sink got clogged and we waited 2 days for a plumber to come and fix it. The comment was that there just weren't enough people, but that wasn't our problem. we cleaned vegetables/fruits, washed dishes in the bathroom. And also you'll have a digital detox - no Wi-Fi or mobile. :)

Check in is AWFUL! We even did pre check in and then had to come back at 4 pm only to wait another 45 min to try to get room keys. They said our room wasn’t ready and that check in isn’t AT four, but begins as early as 4 and that there were no guarantees, so I was SOL.

My staying was not so go. We stayed at the Welk for a wedding. Only two nights. Our experience was not aceptable. The room had two televisions. Both not working. Staff took a longtime to come over. Once they fix the tvs then at the end of the night one tv would not turn off no matter what. Again we had to request service and it took a long time to come over and at the end they could not fixed it. Also we were place next to a big family of 5 children where we had to tolerate the slamming of their door every 5 minutes. I feel that the resort could have done better in placing us in an adult area instead. Iuckely we were staying only two nights. I would never stay there for a longer stay.

My family of 4 stayed for 2 nights for an end of summer staycation! It was amazing overall! The Mountain View king size bed suite was perfect for us! It felt like we had two bedrooms. The kitchenette and the grills out front were a plus. We really enjoyed the pool right across the way, but the only bad part was my husband sliced the tip of His toe on the cement of the pool, so that cut his pool time short, and seems like he wasn’t the only one who got deeply cut. But I will say security was amazing and helped us with first aid and wrapping his toe up and making sure he were comfortable. We did leave a report in hopes of repairs soon so this won’t happen to anyone else. Overall it was an amazing end of summer trip and we will be returning in the future♥️

The room had a terrible odor. I contacted maintenance and they were aware of something coming from the garbage disposal. They shouldn’t have assigned a room knowing there was a problem. Maintenance did come back that night and fixed the problem and had to go around each threshold with air freshener. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. This was definitely not worth the amount of money spent on the rooms.

Ice machine has dirty ice. Soda bed was so uncomfortable. Upon check out someone came knocking on my door and when I open the door the cleaning lady ask if I was leaving, it was 9.25 am when she asked . Check out was at 10 am then the lady said I’ll wait until you leave … she was waiting upstairs with her hand crossed waiting for my family to Leave the room . It was 9:45 and she still was waiting watching take my things to my car. She was sooo rude

Check in times are always delayed .. sometimes up until 3 hours .. too many non Welk owners/ quest are getting in .. specially, on Saturday there’s no monitoring pools are way overcrowded, people are sneaking in.. there needs to be more Adherence to rules, and a better system of not having people just come in

Property is old and the room can be more clean, as well the pool area, did not see any staff helping people or cleaning the area. The food is very limited and terrible in the pool area, but because the property is far from other places I would suggest you to bring your food. The Pizza Hut is good enough. Prices are decent, but chelín experience is slow and chaotic.
