"This was our fifth stay at this house, and every time is better than the last! The location is perfection, giving you beautiful sunrises over the bay while still being close enough to Traverse City to enjoy restaurants, breweries, and shopping. We appreciate that the linens and decorations feel like what you would actually purchase for your own home and not for a rental property. The art is stunning and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen and dining room provide a wonderful place to gather and the living room gives us a chance to watch Football together. We enjoy using all of the fun games downstairs! And everyone seems to sleep really well at this house. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!"

"The website does an accurate job of capturing the views over the West Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. The house appears to have been recently updated and is well done. Plenty of space for a couple. Also, perfectly located. Easy to scoot down into Traverse City, but also up to wineries and towns on Leelanau peninsula. The management company was communicative and easy to contact. Would recommend and I would go back. Two small gripes. One, when we arrived, fruit flies everywhere. I think it is an issue of the area as we saw them all over the place (many vineyards and orchards after all). But the house itself was very clean. No food or garbage to attract them. We just set out some vinegar bowls/traps and problem solved. The second is a common issue to every VRBO I have ever rented that advertises a grill being available on site. I have never found them to be useable without spending a considerable amount of time cleaning the grill body and crates. I mean the thing looked like it had been used for several summers and never once been cleaned. If houses on VRBO are going to advertise grills, I think grills should be inspected and cleaned, if needed, just as if they were part of the kitchen. "

"The neighborhood of this cabin is quiet and perfect for a serene spot to get away. The listing is accurate in that these sweet cabins are rustic but perfectly appointed for all you need. We enjoyed eating in Traverse City, exploring Sutton's Bay, kayaking during the sunrise from the dock, and watching the moon rise over the bay and firepit! The hot tub was a little aged, but still delightful on a cool morning. The location on the peninsula is great and easy to navigate. If you want a laid-back, authentic lake experience, this is it. "
