Nice neighborhood place
All of team members were great. The only issue I had with my stay was that the huge pillows and the mattress were not comfortable and I could not sleep well. But everyone who works there was lovely. Bonus- my room was ready when I got there an hour early. There was much to choose from at included breakfast and everything I had was tasty.

Checkin and checkout were easy, very clean and comfortable room, breakfast spread was nice, and it wasn't difficult to find parking nearby, especially since we were staying on a Saturday night and the meters are free on Sunday. Parking might be a bigger hassle other times.

Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. All the staff members we dealt (front desk and housekeeping) with were friendly, polite, professional and helpful. The only disappointment during our stay was the breakfast. The eggs were just awful, and many of the other food items needed to be replenished but never were. We opted for going out for breakfast after the first morning. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable and we would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located walking distance from everything you need, it's in a safe area and surrounded by friendly people and staff. Me and my son stayed 5 nights, walked to all of our meals and the United Center for 2 events. I highly recommend The Hyatt House to anyone visiting Chicago!

Lady at front desk is NOT someone you want to be greeted by when checking into a hotel. I never review anything but felt the need to say this. Everything else was fine. They clean the rooms every other day.

Great space for a family
The size and setup of the room was great for our family of four. We were grateful for the extra space (kitchen, table, sofa) and utilized it all well. The free breakfast was pretty bad and the hotel bar is very limited on what is serves and doesn't open until 5pm. There was a party in the hallway on our floor one night that was very loud. We did call down eventually and were told that the people were being asked to leave, but it was an extremely disruptive evening with little sleep. I don't blame the hotel for that, it was just circumstances and we do appreciate they eventually got the people out.
