Overall win
Overall this was an excellent stay. We stayed in the Platinum Suite for three days; it is a huge room. Actually a separate bedroom from spacious living/kitchen area. Also 1.5 baths. The space was very clean. No weird smells or stains. The gym is quite big and well-equipped, all things considered. The unit also has washer and dryer. My gripes: the basement garage is tiny, has a very narrow ramp only 1 car wide, and hotel guests get directed to level 3 which is bottom-most level. A pain to get in and out. Also very expensive at $60+ per day. It is conveniently linked by elevator directly to the hotel, but is dark and kind of deserted. My wife was creeped out. In hindsight, I would have parked in one of the other lots on the same block. The hotel lobby area is very dark. I wish they would turn up the lights to make it more welcoming. The unit has a kitchen and coffee machine, but does not have complementary coffee, even a starter pack. Seems like an easy win if they had some caffeine for the first morning.

I loved the amount of space the room was for my husband and three daughters. Very comfortable and very quiet. Great location! Around the corner from all of the monuments and White House!! Only downfall was no daily room service for fixing our beds and tidying up our room.

Tout étaient super, la suite était magnifique, propre et accueillante. Les lits très confortables . Le seul petit point qui nous a incommodé c’est que le réservoir d’eau chaude n’était clairement pas suffisant pour 4 personnes . Durant la 2 eme douche de suite il n’y avait plus d’eau chaude, et nous n’avons pas exagéré sur le temps de la douche. La suite est fait pour 4 personnes donc nous devrions pouvoir prendre chacun une douche sans manquer d’eau chaude. Pour le reste tout étaient vraiment super!

Loved staying at AKA Whitehouse with our family of 4. Well presented 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. Quite complex, with very helpful staff. Was able to walk to many of the sites or take a short Uber ride. Very helpful staff on the front desk as well with suggestions for eating. Would highly recommend!
