This full day includes a great outdoor excursion into the wonders of nature and an opportunity to enjoy one of the most impressive icons in Sicily. First, we will pass by the Alcantara Gorge, where the river has cut a stunning canyon into the lava stone, and then we will aim for the pulsing and flaming heart of the island. On our way to Piano Provenzana, which is located at 1.900 Mt above sea level, the guide will tell you of some interesting facts about the mountain, which is highest active volcano on the European continent. Once you get there you will enjoy the unique view, which is definitely amazing. Guests can choose to remain at 1,900 Mts or head up to 2,900 Mts by the moon bus where you will be meet by an Alpine guide or a volcanologist who will take you on a guided walk around a crater at the summit.
