Experience the enchantment with us and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Sierra Madre del Sur in Oaxaca, renowned for its abundant flora and fauna and as the home of the finest coffee beans. Our adventure begins at the bays of Huatulco, leading us to a vibrant community where the locals will teach you the art of crafting your own tortillas. Indulge in the flavors of locally grown coffee, chocolate, and Mezcal as we delve into this immersive experience.
Nestled within the mountains, the waterfalls await, boasting their pristine, crystalline pools and a captivating cascade. During our approximately 1 hour and 45-minute journey, we will witness the ever-changing tapestry of flora and fauna as we ascend towards the Sierra. Along the unpaved roads, we will be captivated by the vibrant colors and melodic sounds of the jungle, allowing us to connect with nature and find inner tranquility.
Arriving at the farm, we will prepare for a leisurely 15-minute walk along a scenic riverside trail, providing ample opportunities for picturesque photos and glimpses of small waterfalls, ideal for refreshing dips. Once we reach the main waterfall, we will relish in the water for around 1.5 hours while enjoying a clay mask, expertly applied by the locals, which enhances the appearance of the skin with its mineralized properties.
After our refreshing water escapade, we will return to the farm to savor a traditional Oaxacan meal consisting of black mole, black bean soup, pork carnitas, accompanied by coffee, fresh water, and mezcal. Continuing our journey, we will delve into the process of organic coffee production and visit an herbalist, who will enlighten us about the healing properties of various plants still cherished by the community. Additionally, there will be time for shopping before commencing our return trip to Huatulco.
