What you can expect

Zip around Alaska's cool capital on an old-fashioned trolley, riding by modern landmarks and Old West outposts from the port to Douglas Island. Stay onboard for the whole ride to get a lay of the land and decide where to come back to later, or hop off at the sites that interest you most to get a closer look.

Snag a seat on a classic trolley in downtown Juneau and set off through the city streets, listening to engaging narration about this far-north metropolis as you ride along. Gaze out at forested peaks and hazy waterways, and snap photos of the old-fashioned facades of buildings in the Downtown Historic District.

Stop by the Alaskan Brewing Company Store to peruse the ales on offer, pass the Alaska State Capitol, and jump off the trolley to stretch your legs with a stroll through Cope Park. Learn about the salmon lifecycle at the Macauley Salmon Hatchery, grab a drink and check out the memorabilia at the Red Dog Saloon, and hear about the colorful Gold Rush-era characters that put Juneau on the map as you circle back to your starting point.
