This full day tour provides you with a chance to enjoy the stunning beauty of rice paddy terraced. Joining this tour, you will walk through the rice fields and learn more about the process of planning rice as well as the culture of Black Hmong and Giay and Red Dao minorities.
At the departure time, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby by a local tour guide and a driver. You will be transferred to the hiking point by driving along the street Cau May en route. On the way, you will be definitely impressed by a truly awe-inspiring sight of the fantastic rice terraces hidden behind the mist of the morning.
Once you arrive at the trekking point, you will follow a small trail and cross Muong Hoa River. Here, you will enjoy the stunning beauty of well-tended rice terraces on the way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Walking through the colorful rice paddy terraces, you will reach Ta Van Giay Village, and then cross a small suspension bridge which is about 2km from the settlement. Here you can discover an interesting collection of rock carvings. These engravings portray several beautiful images of man, stilt houses and some beautiful decorative patterns.
Following an intensive morning with a lot of trekking and walking, you will stay at the village for lunch and short rest before taking the afternoon adventure.
After lunch, you restart the tour by walking through a bamboo forest to reach Giang Ta Chai village where Red Dao ethnic minority people are living. You take a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh yourself, and then climb uphill to the road where a car is ready to transfer you back to Sapa.
