About Lollapalooza 2020

What is Lollapalooza?

Lollapalooza, or “Lolla” to its fans, is a four-day music festival in Chicago’s Grant Park. The eclectic festival features rock, electronic music, hip-hop and other genres:  The 2019 lineup included Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, Kacey Musgraves and The Strokes, among over 100 other artists. It’s been held off and on since 1991, but the multi-day format started in 2005 and made the festival a huge success. The summertime festival now draws a few hundred thousand people every year and features 8 stages, local eateries at Chow Town, and interactive areas (the 2019 fest had a pop-up piano bar and a roller rink!).
