We loved our stay at the Banyan Tree Puebla. The staff were great and treated us with so much kindness. There was so many restaurants, shopping and touristy things to do just walking distance from the hotel. The hotel in general was so clean and well kept. We love to come back again.

Not only did our room get downgraded, they did the very minimum to fix the issue. Ontop of that they didn’t honor the “VIP” perks to staying there. They gave our room to a wedding guest to left their belongings in our room. They didn’t even attempt to clean the room properly before giving us the room with their wedding invitations and bags. We were treated like second class citizens. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Ontop of that service American hotel guests were loud and obnoxious drunk in the hallways at midnight. I’m disgusted with the treatment we received and the fact that our room was downgraded from what we paid and were asked to pay $200 dollars to try to upgrade the room, even though they’re the ones who made the mistake and giving away our room!!

Best stay ever
The hotel was beautiful and had a lot to offer. Our stay was filled with activities like a mixology class and a cooking class. Both were great and the food recipes outstanding. I shout out to Araceli and Fernando our chefs. A special thank you to miguel who was the best waiter ever. Thank you for making our stay as if it were our home. Accommodations we perfect. The only thing I would add is a full length mirror in the room

Great hotel!
Amazing hotel with amazing service! The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are amazing as well as the bathroom that have this beautiful tub. All the hotel colleagues are incredible and make you feel so special. They are very attentive to your every needs. There is an amazing bar behind the front desk that is only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A must to visit when it is opened. I highly recommend this hotel. Make sure to not get a room that faces the busy street on the side of the hotel. Even though the sound isolation is good, it can get a bit noisy. Overall, an amazing hotel.

If you visit Puebla and want a perfectly-located hotel with every amenity, then the Banyan Tree is the right choice. It's a beautiful property close to the historic center, and the staff is great.
