A brilliant break in Newcastle.
Arrived by car and found location and access to hotel parking easily. Reception friendly and professional. Offered refreshments whilst room prepared as we arrived slightly early. Room on 5th floor had large window with great views towards river and iconic bridges / buildings. The room was spacious bright and airy. The decor suggests that this floor has very recently been refurbished to a high standard and with work progressing on the 4th floor I'm confident that the entire hotel will be of a similar standard when offered to guests. The bed and furnishings are very comfortable and the provision of a very well deserved equipped kitchen gives great options. A small 'grocery room' at reception offers a good range of products if you want to eat in. The en suite shower and toilet is great with e friendly toiletries and quality linen. Breakfast was complimentary and the choice was extensive. Again quality was good and the staff were great despite being very busy. In an evening hour complimentary refreshments are offered Overall the hotel staff were brilliant and communicate so easily with guests and this is refreshing compared to the attitudes further south. Information was offered unprompted and we ended up with a full itinerary including theatre, parks and markets by following their suggestions. The hotel has a gym etc but we avoided that. Too many mirrors. Overall we had a fantastic 3 night stay in Newcastle as usual, made all the better by good accommodation and great crew.

Me encantó el alojamiento. La relación calidad precio es muy buena. La suite con cocina totalmente equipada grande y luminosa. Buenos facilities, Los productos de baño también de buena calidad, incluyendo body milk y acondicionador de pelo. El desayuno especialmente a destacar por su cantidad y variedad. Área de café y social moderna y cómoda. Volveré seguro. Si tengo que decir algo malo, el secador de pelo tenía poca potencia y un puerto USB habría estado genial.
